Kiddie Porn? is this it? What did you do with your early childhood pictures?

I was going through some pictures of me back in the day, and there are a couple nude ones where i am singing like a rockstar (i was only like 5 or 6)..

After hearing the story of the women who got charged for breast feeding a 1 yr old so that they could capture the moment on film is kind of making me reconsidering keeping my early childhood pictures in my home/office.

Is it a crime to look at pictures of myself, even though im nude?

Jakke PNG 05-10-2003 06:09 AM

Not in Finland atleast. It would be absurd if that was illegal.

JamesK 05-10-2003 06:10 AM

I think it shouldnt be. its damn bullshit.

(btw that breast stuff can only happen in America)

I dont think it should be illegal either, but with the recent rampage of cracking down on sites and people who possess kiddie porn (not that this is a bad thing) i am kind of wondering what would happen if they came here for any reason and came across those pics..

My guess is that i would probably be charged with something and left to sort it out in court, which would be complete bullshit.

It never happened, this is just one of those "What If"'s

If it did happened you can bet your bottom dollar i would fight it till the last $ i have, none the less i would think it would get thrown out of court if it were ever to happen.

Soooooooo many parents take pictures of their children in the bath, on the beach, etc... there must be MILLIONS of old ladies out there with innocent pics of their 50 year old son as a kid in the bath.

I imagine that you'd be fine as long as they're kept in the family album... but hey, I'm no lawyer (thank fucking God, some of these people will challenge ANYTHING for a buck).

Mishi 05-10-2003 06:22 AM

You should burn all those pictures now. Never mind that they're completely innocent - your Government thinks otherwise!

You must bury your own beliefs when The Government informs you that what you think is wrong. As a good, Patriotic American, you should go ahead and turn yourself in now, before you have the opportunity to harm someone other than your self.

Your post suggests that you might possibly still think for yourself. You must stop this immediately. Individuality is a threat to our way of life.

Have a Nice Day.

My girlfriend took a few pictures of her daughter in the bath tub...just cute naked baby pictures, thats it. She got them developed at Wal-Mart and those fucking cocksuckers had the police waiting for her when she came to pick them up. They questioned her for about 30 minutes in front of all the customers and scared the shit out of her. Fucking stupid ass shit. She should have laughed in their faces.

Thats the kind of shit i am talking about. Its like they're so blinded they cannot see the completely obvious. I bet you're wife didnt enjoy being made out to be a pedophile infront of everyone.

I wonder if you could sue for libe for that? what if her boss had been in there and fired her because of that (assuming she is working?

Dude, if that's what happend, you should dig into that lawsuit against Wal-Mart where they did the same exact thing to a woman. She ended up walking away with a NICE chunk of money.

This is completely paranoid. The mind that questioned the photos of the mother is sick.

I dont know if it is me who you think is paranoid or the cops who arrested the mother..

Either way it isnt really being paranoid since this shit is happening more and more often, and being involved in the porn industry would just be one MAJOR stike against you if this should ever come down to being charged with something..

Imagine that mother who was arrested and whos kids were taken away was involved in porn/had her own website.. it would h ave been 100000% worse for her even though there were no kids involved.

Theo 05-10-2003 07:33 AM

no, i was refering to the Wal-Mart event with qualitympegs gf.

i understand your concern

Full marks for dumb ass got nothing better to do and need to get a life question

KRL 05-10-2003 07:38 AM

With the way things are now, if you want to take family nude pics I would think twice and not recommend it in any way shape or form.

I just found a pic my father had taken when I was a couple months old breast feeding on my mother. And I'm thinking to myself, how sad that that kind of picture could create situations if you took it in today's world.

We're a pathetic society in that regard.

I couldnt agree more...It's like they're taking away the magic of childhood memories by not allowing you to capture it, and if you do you take the risk of being charged.

I showed my girlfriend my pictures and she started gushing because of how cute i was and with the bubbles all over me... i guess she is a pedophile now in the eyes of the American law.. good thing we still live in Canada

Tipsy 05-10-2003 07:51 AM

Clamping down on CP is great and very much needed. However, the witch hunt that goes with it is absurd at best and 99% driven by the sick assholes in the media. The only thing more worrying than the people working in the media - and often causing as much grief as your average child molester - is that such a large % of the population believe anything and everything the media throws at them.

There was a great example of the hysteria the media can cause when at least one of the major UK tabloids started a witch hunt on child molesters a few years back. It ended in insane shit like a paediatrician who was chased from his home by a mob because they hadn't the intelligence to tell the difference between a paediatrician and a paedophile.

Even on this board many demonstrate on a very regular basis that they have no idea what a paedophile actually is. It's not just walmart employees that have that problem.

I just did some checking on this book and it seems like it is something worth while to read!

Thanks for getting me to read a book for lesiure instead of work for the first time in years!

Raven 05-10-2003 01:06 PM

This might be a little off topic....

For those who have kids and proudly display their pictures on the Internet....

Why?

While I agree that image processing places are getting out of hand..

Webmasters know how the Internet is. These pics and posts about our children......can be viewed by paedophiles... and often are.

I was talking to a friend of mine..who told me....child molesters love to go to K-Mart and Walmart to buy picture frames because they always have cute little kids as the 'sample' pic...which is good advertising because ...then, grandma will look at the frame with the cute kid and buy the frame to put her own grandkids' pics in there...while a paedophile will buy the frame, just to get the sample pic of the kid....

The pendulum always swings to the extreme when the government goes on one of its reform kicks.....think back to the sexual abuse court cases....so many fathers, especially, were indicted and convicted on the flimsiest of evidence..all because the wife or husband going through the divorce, uttered the words....'my child was molested'...to the authorities...

It got to the point where men were afraid to be around their own kids without someone else being there. That has subsided and so will this......

But, until it does...shit, I wouldn't put a picture of myself or my kid or anyone else's on the Internet.....no telling who is going to be jerking off to it.

cluck 05-10-2003 01:24 PM

I don't see what the big deal is about pedophiles jerking off to a regular old pic of your kid. If they don't get it in a picture frame they'll see him in the mall or something. Definetly avoid the circulation of naked pics though. Then you're practically handing them KP on a silver platter.

DirtyDanza 05-10-2003 01:26 PM

Uh.. yeah .... I'm going to need a 2257 on your baby pics please....
