Because the TGP owner doesn't want to lose his bookmarkers to your gallery.

Or has it come to a point where all TGP owners are just copying and pasting rules and not knowing why things are the way they are?

Because the tgp wants the surfer to bookmark their site and not yours??......But bookmarkers are usually useless bandwidth burning, freeloaders....Thats 1 of the reasons why tgp traffic is low in quality. You really want the horny newbie surfers that don't know about "Free Porn" yet...
