I bet my account would be canned today. My best sponsor is only 1:210 for the past 6 months with about a 30-40% conversion/renewal rate. Probably so not good enough to keep me afloat in nastydollahs. They's on a rampage affiliate kill.

I dont promote them but there is a group in NYC that is very mad at them and that group is real nasty with lots of dollars plus

I havent been canned yet and I convert worse then that, I've really cut back on my traffic sent to them.

It bugs me that you can't actually close an account with a sponsor. You just stop sending them traffic and hang around in their database forever. And eventually start getting spammed when they decide to sell everyone's email addies.

That's really messed up. My sales have been down at least 75% with ND for the last 4 weeks, so I cut the traffic off. I dunno what it is, they were my best sponsor ever. They still pay ontime, Im not sure what it is.

well if i were the company id just have a list of people who cancelled just to know that they are using an active email address.

Maybe you guys are just getting a bad bunch of traffic. You know it's funny how this business works. You can have 10000 hits to a sponsors and not get 1 signup and the next 10 hits you can get 10 signups.

i stopped promoting them a long time ago. they were the shit when milf hunter and mikes apartment first came out though.

I've been selling Nasty Dollars for about a year now. They've paid ontime, everytime.

I am selling on movie galleries, with very closely matched content to their sites. I add more galleries, I change the sites sometimes but I have always maintained a 1:800 overall ratio on movie galleries.

As for being concerned about being cancelled .. Well Ernesto has been pretty open with me, as far as I can tell, and communicates well. I suppose it could happen, but I don't think he'd just do it unfairly. Maybe I'm just fooling myself, who knows.

Then please explaine the logic between hits from signups? You can't because their is no logic.
What I was saying is you can't say your going to get 1:250 hits because you might get bad traffic and not make any signup for 10,000 hits. Than again you might get 5 signups in 5 clicks.

It sounds harsh but if your traffic isn't converting then it's costing them money to have you as an affiliate. Why should they?

And if they do keep you on when your traffic isn't converting, that means there's less money to pay the affiliates who are converting well.

... I once sent 10.000 clicks to a sponsor and got 10.000 signups, then the next 10 clicks didn´t convert ... I canned them.

It's a pain in the ass for people being canned (and a bit beyond me why anyone would use them at the moment with that hanging over their heads), but at least they don't come out with a BS excuse like many 'reputable' companies in this business and not pay you.

Thumbs up to them that at least they are being fairly honest and paying money owed rather than stealing it like some.

nasty dollars is ok in my books. if they don't want someone's traffic thats decision. they're paying those webmasters and telling them not to send anymore traffic.

Perfectly said. Can't assume a sponsor will continue to pay a webmaster that is simply costing them money.
