A new world is coming

Let me tell you what I think. The changes that are coming are going to be similar to when the Internet started and we couldn't see the potential. This is the new normal, it changes everything and there are going to be new opportunities for those that are looking.

As long as this virus is active, there will be no more people going to restaurants, movie theaters, sports or concerts or any where there is a crowd. This is going to kill a lot of these kinds of venues. There will be more work at home, home deliveries, Amazons and streaming entertainment. The only thing that would bring back any resemblance of normality would be a vaccine and that may or may not happen. And there will be other pandemics.

You need to see that a shift to remote everything is coming and what can you to do with this new reality.

Anybody have any thoughts on where we might go with this?

Human behavior is pretty predictable, they will fuck it up quickly, we are all ignorant.

I'm with you on this, things will never go to back to how they were.

The best hope we have of any normality until there is a vaccine is following Taiwans model, ie: you don't leave the house without hand sanatizer and wearing a mask, and when you come home have routine of sterilizing anything you came back with including shoes and clothes.

We will have to live like that for two years at least so get used to it.

Millions of new opportunities and professions will come from it, for us home based Web workers it surly should be boom times.

The dot-com bubble burst was exactly 20 years ago. Many believed it to be a fad. Now all the solid online businesses are flourishing.

I hope that one day Bitcoin (or cryptocurrencies in general) will be the same.

Yes i agree on this one.
We are shifting to another bigger event we never saw coming.

So, Chinese markets are still full with people selling all sorts of crazy shit (pics taken less than a month ago).

Belarus president has said his country is fighting the virus with vodka and saunas.

South Africans, well they just aren't distancing themselves etc.

How could you ever allow a flight in and out of any of these countries to your own country and not expect the virus to remain/return in the future months or years ahead ??

It's a global pandemic. Yet not all countries are treating it the same way. I simply don't see how "normality" returns any time soon...

. . . a brave new world?

I have experienced several major crises in adult business in 20 years, but the adult has always survived.

Stricter testing and regulations for entering any country is next. What we really need tho is a simple home test kit where the average person can tell relatively quickly if they are infected. This will help a lot.

But I do believe things will return to semi-normal by summer. This is not the Plague. People do not die immediately from this and over 80% get over it. Once the panic dies down and people focus on the majority number people will get back to normal.

But how does this serve as an opportunity? I dunno but getting more income via websites and getting the online revenue up is Job #1 (for me). :)

I love it ... life is overrrated anyways

what was the vaccine for the 1917 flu epidemic again? ohhhhh right there wasn't one and that one was far worse yet we all went back to normal...

a little bit of history goes a long way. Less theories, more reading. It will do you some good and we all have the time now...

Amen brother! This is quite literally madness. A new flu strain arrives every year so is this just prep for our yearly lockdowns?

Plus, no one even knows if this lockdown is working or not! Of course people will say: oh but it would have been SO MUCH WORSE without the lockdown tho they don't know that either.

Crazy times.

The slight advantage the Spanish flu had is that it was influenza, so it was seasonal and naturally died down.

There's ZERO indication Covid19 slows in Summer and every reason to believe it has a reinfection rate of 5-15%

American Government seems to be brainwashing the population that this will all be over in a few weeks, yet here in Australia their now telling people expect 2 years or more of hardship, and to prepare for that.

"We think Italy may be the most comparable area to the United States at this point," the US Vice President said."

The only certainty is in order to jerk-off...a punter must be able to breathe.

There is every indication it is weather sensitive. Check the equator and Southern Hemisphere for severe outbreaks.

The reinvention is minor according to the same study.

I got it. Got over it and am thinking life moves on. No mask. No need to do much of anything. Immunity, :)

This is not done playing its self out. But I agree. with time things will shift back. '

freecartoonporn 04-02-2020 03:46 AM

I hope you're immune, I've read that some are getting re-infected. That would be a game-changer.
