Tech VPN and CCbill affiliate links

Not sure is there already discussion but are have you noticed that when visiting CCBill affiliate link from a VPN, the page simply won't load.

I am using the Nord VPN. Anyone noticed the same or having the same issue with other VPN providers? This is potentially huge, more and more people using VPNs.

I use a VPN and our CCBill affiliate links work. However, I notice you have to link to CCBill with HTTP, not HTTPS as the latter will just hang for some reason.

Well this IS a problem then since Google wants all sites to be HTTPS.

WTF CCBill? You guys ARE aware this is 2020 and there are other, more modern options?

Too many people use VPNs for this not to be a major issue for CCBill.

No difference here if it is HTTP or https. What VPN provider are you using?

I believe this is because many people using stolen CCs use VPNs. So many VPN IPs get banned to prevent chargebacks.

I've contacted Nord VPN support and ccbill support. Will report back. At this moment, CCbill asked for more info and I've sent them . They are saying their tests are not showing problem but they don't have access to Nord ( a very popular service)

Rather not say. Even off the VPN it happens and I've had affiliates email me saying the same thing.

I don't think linking to CCBill via HTTP or HTTPS will affect the listings of your site if your site is HTTPS. The HTTP link code will still forward to your HTTPS site.

same here. However, check if the site load at all..by using some web service to check http status.
Why? Because issue with vpn doesnt happen on all ccbill sites.

if they have clue what they talk about, and they are right it can mean only one thing -> that particular website blocked vpn traffic on its server side.

lol - That's what I am asking you! - I was wondering if it's a mixed content issue - ie HTTP embeds on an HTTPS page...

Using popular VPN increase chance to be blocked, for example i cant access soundcloud due it.
