Ok, I feel really stupid after reading posts for the last hour or so... but I'm going to ask stupid questions anyway and hopefully I wont get any hate mail :BangBang:

I just recently put a website up of lil ol me and I need traffic... now I know I can do banner exchange and all that but I was wondering if any of you can help a gal out with ideas, suggestions, anything!! I generate a whole 30 hits a day, and thats because I havent done much to get traffic to my site (i've only been up for almost 3 mo's)

I'm also wondering if I'm showing too much on my Tour page (lots of boobage) I realize I have a long way to go and a lot to learn but I'm willing to put in the time and effort to make this thing pay off if at all possible.

Any idea's and or support is greatly appreciated!!

also, when your tour ends, you should link them to your join page instead of having them close the page. :2 cents:

If you want Search Engine traffic your going to have to do some work, your Keyword To PR is terrible. Not to mention 20 other things you should be doing.

I would piss off the banner exchange shit altogether, it aint going to do anything for you. It is just more traffic leaks that you shouldn't have.

I agree with Darkhorse. I would get the tour and site working before worrying too much about traffic. It doesn't cost that much to have a nice tour built by a pro in comparison to what a bad tour will cost you.

Once that is done.......Buy pay per click traffic from google and sex.com specific to what you offer.

The amount of traffic won't be huge but it may be productive.

Darkhorse, could you please elaborate on the Keywords to PR and other things I could/should be doing, if you dont mind that is! :) I really dont know what I'm doing and I have no one to ask and I found this website hoping to get some help.

I dont know what all the abbrevations mean yet, so I must sound like a complete idiot for asking and I feel stupid too but I dont know what else to do but sit in front of my computer while my ass goes flat trying to figure this sh*t out!! Also, Internet Eraser Sponser... I've never heard of that!!


And yes, I realize my site needs work... thats why I wanted some critism, contructive or otherwise... I just need feedback and of course my friends dont want to hurt my feelings.

Any other thoughts, ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

I dont have ICQ but I do have yahoo IM. I suppose I could download ICQ software, just never got around to it.

I did make some changes already to my site... trying to make it look a little more profesh... check it out if you get a chance. Any comments and/or suggestions are welcomed.

i also must add, make the links all open in one browser, to me thats like pop ups, and lord knows we all hate pop ups.

i would also suggest using a hidden counter opposed to a viwable one, people see you have little to no traffic going to your site and they will think its not worth spending there money on it.

like everyone else has said, hook up that tour and your good to go :thumbsup

Snakelday you really should hide the counter like all people are telling you to do that is a must if you want more to stay around

and if it was my i would change up the tour to me really to dark ,
but you will get there in time just play and see what people think and how you get members to join
