It's not a great feeling, is it ? Experienced this in San Diego a few times. Moved to Maine and within a few months had a 5.2 here ? Seems you just cant get away from them !

It's a bit worrying as we had a 4.7 a few hours before in the same spot - After shocks are supposed to get smaller, not bigger! - Let's hope this little episode is over...

you get used to the tiny quakes, how long did the quake last? that's the real issue. the northridge quake lasted 10-20 seconds. I remember thinking at the time, if this keeps up we are fucked... all the electric transforms on the telephone pole blow up, like missile command. I've seen that a few times.

the Alaska quake lasted 4.5 minutes... that's fucking deadly. the whole bay drained out and came back... that's super super scary. it is hard to imagine 4.5 minutes of shaking :2 cents:

ws it at the same time as the Turkey quake?

we had a little quake out here in the desert as well

I left Mexico after 7.1 earthquake and stayed away since than.
Saw people digging for survivors, families crying cause they lost children.
