What are the biggest reported adult sites that have been sold?

Ive been offered one site that is doing a REV of $150k a month and profit of $75k... what would be a reasonable price on this...

just based on the profit figure there is an hell of a lot of content etc as well....

depends...is the person sending his own traffic to pull that revenue? or is there an affiliate program attached?...just because its netting 75k with him,doesnt mean it will with you

half of the $75k profit is produced by affiliates the other half is produced by search engine listings and PPC traffic.

But the profit figure takes into account the advertising that would be needed to be done to maintain the revenue figures.

I should mention its a small network of sites NOT just one site.

what is a REV? he's netting 50% on his gross sales .............. bullshit methinks, better find out how exactly he's doing it to see if you can do the same.

hes making 50% profit well between $75k and $80k for last 4 months.

Most prices on sites we've handled for clients or looked at for ourselves have been priced at about 6 mont's net on average. Some as high as 24 months net.

The highest I've seen was a site with a net of $1.8 per year looking for a sale at 10 mil. Didn't sell obviously on that multiple.

While it varies by industry and from situation to situation, a very simple private company valuation is ASSETS - DEBTS + YEARLY NET * 1.5. So a company with 1 million in assets, no debts and 1 million in yearly net would be worth ~ 2.5 million. The 6 month net price noted by KRL sounds like a bargain to me. But ultimately everything is worth whatever you can get someone to pay for it :glugglug
