Am I the only one on earth that thinks MIDAS is just a fucking scammer?

Years ago people told me many times that there's no such thing as lifetime warranty on brakes but I thought hey that's a big company they may actually honor it but was I wrong? The 3rd time when I went to change my brake pads they told me I needed new rotors cos the old ones were too thin. I was only a college student hardly had money for beer so I said I didn't want to change to their overpriced rotors they said then they couldn't change my pads cos that'd be against the law?! Six months later I took my same car to same MIDAS didn't show them my warranty asked them to check my rotors and this time they told me rotors were fine (duh?! Did it magically get thicker? lol) just the brake pads needed changed so I pulled my warranty told them to change it then. You should have seen their faces.. only if they could kill me!

I never went back to MIDAS until today to change oil/rotate tires cos my wife bought one of those 59.99 coupon while I wasn't home. They asked if I would like to change my rotors/brake pads? Said no and then he tells me i'd have to wait 2 hours after my oil change to get tires rotated.. what the fuck?? Luckily thou another mechanic already finished working on my car before this guy had a chance to go inside to tell him to make me wait 2 hours as a penalty for not making them more money. Do any of you go to MIDAS? You should reconsider.. they are worse than maxcash exit consoles :helpme

i had a brake issue not too long ago..those bastards charged me 500 for the front brakes...all I can say is,never again

That's one of them things that's good to learn to do yourself.

oh yeah,they called me 2wice while doing them to tell me more shit was fucked up and i 'needed' to buy that part

Since I still have 2 more oil changes left off that coupon I'll have to go back.. think I'll tell them upfront next time "Just change oil.. not tires, not wires, do not call me home or wait for me to ask me anything.. just change the damn oil mothafucka" and I'll repeat it few times until it gets into his head :1orglaugh

Midas is a huge fucking scam.

Never take a nice car to Midas for breaks or shocks.

Midas mechanics work on commission stay away very far away.

You mean nicer car or up-end sports utility right? Cos I consider my car to be nice too hehe. My car is only an Olds Alero 2000 but loaded thou leather interior and all.. I'm not too much into cars but think gonna buy me something nicer soon :)
