How Many Affiliates Do Some Of The Larger Programs have?

Like Topbucks and ARS for example?

How many would you guess?

Not counting the dead affiliates who just never close their account.

But how many ACTIVELY pushing it?

Just curious.

We at SilverCash just singed up our 77th :1orglaugh

BJ 05-08-2003 01:48 PM

looking at check #'s, during the peak of clickcash the difference was only 500-600 checks a week.

RAM 05-08-2003 01:48 PM

maybe 15 or 20

polish_aristocrat 05-08-2003 01:53 PM

I know that ARS has 2500+ active webmaster accounts.

I'd guess that's very very low.

Exactly what I do from month to month to see which programs are gaining/losing affiliates. Bear in mind though that affiliates might have multiple accounts to track various campaigns if the affiliate program doesn't have good stats tracking by resource.

Also bear in mind that a lot of foreign webmasters are paid from different bank accounts so that might not be factored in when looking at check numbers.

xxxdesign-net 05-08-2003 02:42 PM

J.R. 05-08-2003 02:47 PM

When Busty Amateurs closed, they had over 17,000 webmasters total.

I have all the emails for them :)

Well the question was "active" webmasters. Not the total number of ppl who've signed up to promote them.

I've sent ARS one sale (by accident from a really really old page) in the last 45 days and I'm ranked number 800.

So if you consider an active webmaster someone who sends at least one join per month, 2500 might be a bit high.

Dax 05-08-2003 04:53 PM

I would say the big programs have over 5000 webmasters and yet from what I have heard for the most part less than 50 bring in like 80% of the sales.

%10 bring in %90 of the sales for adult and non-adult programs.

KRL 05-08-2003 07:28 PM

The big players usually have about 500 webmasters max that will bring in the bulk (80% or more) of the business.

On a top sponsor program only about 50 webmasters will make $2,000 or more per week.

That might sound low, but that is the real deal.

Like anything it's quality not quantity that counts.

TaDoW 05-08-2003 07:54 PM

we've got 6 .... wait, I think there was a new one last month... 7!

Keev 05-08-2003 08:00 PM

I know a couple large but yet small when it comes to being compared to ars and what not are easily in the 6,000+ range,,, Very popular on this board as well.

I would imagine programs like Adult.com and ARS have in the area of 6-10k, active meaning sending traffic, regardless of how much as long as the potential for a sale is there, I would consider them active.

LA Mike 05-09-2003 10:03 AM

If someone says they have 25k active webmasters they are crazy. We have close to 3000 active at all times and around 40,000 total webmasters. I would bet the other large programs have about the same

Jakke PNG 05-09-2003 10:08 AM

I AM AN AFFILIATE!

Wizzo 05-09-2003 10:12 AM

The 25k answer, was to the original question...:)

Yeah I was curious more about how many ACTVELY sending traffic and sign ups, or logging in regularly.

How many have affiliates who log in regularly?

Im guessing that number goes down quickly.

That list must be a bit out of date by now. I don't think any of the e-mails I used back then are still active.

I've sent like around 5 signups to ars this pay period and I'm already in the top 500 webmasters according to their 'webmaster rank'. Although I believe the top 50 make a killing for themselves and ars. :) I think last payperiod I made 1 sale and I was like in the top 1000 ars webmasters. :1orglaugh

Yep, if you are in the ARS top 50 its Beverly Hillbillies money time.

Don't ask me how I know.
