I do not but i got tip how it's best to invest into food companies, as they are not going anywhere.

MaDalton 01-10-2020 06:32 AM

i do all my own research and so far i have been pretty good at it

70% stocks / 30% funds (mostly index ETFs, don't care for managed funds, statistically they don't do better, just cost more)

This year I am getting into investing for retirement purposes so I am looking around now for what's best to begin. SO MANY CHOICES!

GameFinest,

I love playing in the market although for every win I have a couple of losses.

These days I'm playing with stocks going ex-dividend and playing with options around those dates.

When it makes me more than my business I'll sell the business and take up trading full time.

I've been averaging 20% with PRSCX (T. Rowe Price Science & Technology)
- Doubled it, and took out my principal.
- Doubled it again, and took out my principal.
- Letting it ride, and most recent re-investment of gains puts it around 4 times my initial investment.

IRA's in Housing (seemed like a good time to get in right after the crash) and Emerging Markets.

Vanguard VOO is solid.

I'm been doing both crowdfunded real estate and eREITs as a supplemental rev stream for the past few years which has been picking up

There's nothing wrong with that! A lot of people try to invest in things they don't understand and go tits up.

For the "average" investor, broad range index funds IMO should be the largest percentage of your portfolio.

The Vanguard 500 is probably my favorite at the moment.

Would like to hear others opinions.

GAMEFINEST 01-21-2020 02:33 PM

I have vanguard and Charles schwab
Both doing good

GAMEFINEST 01-21-2020 02:56 PM
