Weird Email Date Thingy

Man, I received an email from someone yesterday. But the 'received on' date says 5/14 and every new piece of mail I get goes below it. Since technically, I haven't received this email yet.

Anyone know how this happens?

Person who sent you the email probably has the wrong date or that future date in it. So that email will now stay on the top. Favorite trick for spammers so that the email is always first. Though in this case, probably a mistake on the senders part.
