CCBill's New Software is NOT TRACKING SALES!!!

Indeed... we have tons of email confirmations that prove
there are sales, we are tracking them with MPA2 but the sales
are NOT showing up in their stats (ccbill).

I am sure I am not the only one, at this moment, CCBill
is NOT being helpful in this matter!

I am pretty pissed with them..

Luckily, we use multiple processors.

It's so they can pay for the new software....:winkwink:

EscortBiz 05-08-2003 09:06 AM

You are getting Email confirmation of signups?

netstarz 05-08-2003 09:13 AM

Every single one of the sites I promote that uses CC Bill has had a dramatic sales drop over the past week.

KRL 05-08-2003 09:17 AM

If computers and humans are involved, TRUST NO ONE!

You should have seen what it was like in the early days of online processing when all these processors were getting the bugs out of their software. I don't want to even think how many sales were not reported.

Things have gotten way better, but as we can see based on this and other industry board posts, things are still not perfect with any one of these companies.

Rip 05-08-2003 09:38 AM

Yeah i cannot get the display to work properly either, probably phone them later this am

minor bugs likely

I wonder if this is a just a global change in attitude. My own website sign-ups have dropped to less than half what they were a week ago with no significant change in quantity or source of traffic. And I DO NOT use CC Bill.

Summer slump starting early, perhaps?

Giorgio_Xo 05-08-2003 09:45 AM

I have had zero sign-ups so far this month with ccbill. :(

So CCbill is not crediting sales, WSB is not paying webmasters, and Ibill is about to follow WSB's path.

Gees , May is upto a really GREAT start...lol. Some folks really need to get their shit together. Very sad indeed.

Sly_RJ 05-08-2003 10:09 AM

Weird. Yesterday was a record CCBill day for one of my clients.

Oh yea, I forgot to add PayPal to that list

I had a problem with my CCBILL login when I first tryed to use the new system.

I spoke to Lange, he had me talk to a tech via ICQ and within half an hour I was able to login and everything was working fine.
Lange and this tech listened to what I had to say and addressed each issue in detail and to my total satisfaction.

Now I'm not sure about this missing sales problem I do not see it in my stats but thats not saying its not happening

But I am telling you CCBILL will take care of it 100% I am quite sure!

CCBILLS worst day of customer support is nothing compared to IBILLS crap!
I'm still waiting for someone to get back with me from IBILL and that was 6 months ago.

Work the problem with Corvett he will listen, they care and it will get fixed.

corvette 05-08-2003 10:33 AM

As always, CCBill is committed to providing the best services possible. Our new reports system was built to add flexibility and provide in-depth reporting previously unavailable. Within that system we added the ability to notify us of bugs for issues such as these that may arise during any new software rollout. CCBill spent over 1 year developing, integrating, and testing this new product. In addition to our own internal testing, a group of our clients has been testing it for over two months to achieve the smoothest rollout possible. One thing to remember is that when a bug is noted, CCBill's staff needs time to analyze and fix the issue.

This issue might relate to one that was brought to our attention last night, one related to a "reporting feature" in our new release. The database is accurate and if sales have occurred, all partners and webmasters will get their proper credit. If anyone is having other issues or would like to provide their account number and some examples, we will be happy to resolve those as well. Also, please feel free to continue to use the bug report feature in new reports.

We would like to remind everyone that our technical support is available to contact 24/7. We would also remind everyone that working directly with us instead of through public forums is more likely to ensure a timely response as we can get accurate information which is easier to use when identifying and tracking any problems.

As always, I am available over icq

Ray,

If your gonna make a bold statement about iBill then
I suggest you back it up.

Especially, when you compare it to WSB.

KRL 05-08-2003 11:06 AM

"We're looking into it as we speak, but don't worry all your signups are being credited in the database"

God I love that line, its become so classically familiar in this industry.

I love CCBill, but the transition to System5 has been a great big mess for me. Unfortunately, the support I have gotten about it has been very spotty as well. Disappointing.

Nope. All of my other sponsors have stayed the same and a couple have even taken a jump. I am not saying this was caused by their change. It is just something I noticed.

pornguy 05-08-2003 12:30 PM

I have not had any problems as of yet with the new system.. It looks nice, runs a little slow, but I can live with that.

I have noticed that sales have been a little slow, since the inception of the system, but it may get better...

I say give CCBILL some time. They have not done me wrong in 5 years.

:thumbsup

Not here to defend them, until I get my web900 $'s at least. But they are public and you can track the fact if they are going under or not. Shit like losing your ability to process would be made public. Every other company in this industry you have to take a big leap of faith that under the pretty public image are not ugly ass bank issues.

KRL, let?s put this into perspective; apparently the webmaster receives an email when a customer signs up. If a signup email is being generated, then the transaction is in our database. In addition, we are also talking about at least some reporting done through a third party system.

I want to get the specific details on what JR has noticed so that I can be sure that we are on the same page

JR, please answer your icq

Un-bunch your panties everyone, if there is a reporting glitch it'll be fixed. As long as their master databases are fine, which they evidently are if emails are going to customers, then the reporting off those databases sounds like the only thing that needs to be fixed.

Such impatience.

Brad

I agree with Brad just a little patience. CCBill has been awesome and I am sure will continue to be. Their new admin is awesome, give them a break there is bugs in every new system.

heymatty 05-08-2003 02:50 PM

No problem with the check refunds reporting those are still coming in strong :thumbsup

My numbers look identical to last weeks so I don't think very many joins are going missing from the reports.

chupacabra 05-08-2003 03:15 PM

huh... am i right in assuming this database bug is only affecting affiliate programs and the like? we run paysites using ccBill and every sale we have received email confirmation for has shown up in the stats since the switchover to the new system w/out delay, they are actually showing up a bit faster within the stats than they did using admin '4'. no problems for us w/ the stats reporting sales at all it seems, the only gripe we have is the lack of a normal "Manually Remove User" function, but tech told us last night that it would be available very soon.

regardless, noone should be worrying about ccBill, they've proven time and time again that they are *always* on the level and here for the long haul just like us webmasters.. :2 cents:
