58 years ago ... why the hell isn´t this a bank holiday here ??

May 9th is a holiday in Russia

what I find interesting is that WWII, Vietnam and Roman Wars have the same significance to "uts" of "new generation"

... yes, it´s wwII victory day, one day after the capitulation ..

May 8th sucks. My dad died on that day in 86:(

When I was in college.. May 8th was outdoor intercourse day.

Who really cares?

Do we celebrate the day Robert E Lee signed his defeat? Or May 2nd when hitler killed himself?

No we don't

If we celebrated every 'surrender' we'd be thinking of war everyday.

There's more important to remember dates than Berlin surrendering.

So I check my mail and wonder why the fuck I have 30 meg of incoming messages.
