I've know him for a long time, we had been good friends, but now i dont see him too often (like maby once a month). His girls says they broke up. Theres no way i can check if its true or not (and i wont call him and ask if its OK to hit his chick)

So, would you still hit it or maybe its better not to risk it ?

Good friends are hard to come by. gf's and bf's will come and go. I think it all depends on how much your friend really means to you and maybe how you approach it. I personally would talk to the friend first about it.
