Advanced Submitter v3 help

I just got this program and does anyone know how to get more than the 100 sites that are in the database to begin with. There are supposed to be like 1000 or more sites in the database right?

Thank you.

My GTZ 05-07-2003 07:48 PM

Can anyone help me with this issue?

lil2rich4u2 05-07-2003 07:49 PM

is it registered?

bigdaddyc187 05-07-2003 07:50 PM

You need to purchase it.

My GTZ 05-07-2003 07:50 PM

Yes, I have a registered copy of it and there are only like 100 sites in the database, kinda disappointing.

There is not 1000 in any of the databases. The database that you have is probably the top 120 for hand submittion and not really for autosubmittion. They now have a paid member service for updated databases which includes the top 160 TGPs, 380 MGP's, and a combined database with 635 sites. So 635 is the current max.

You are really better off taking the time to build your own database and maintaining it. Time consuming but ultimately the best way to go.

You can get version 3 just search the forums.

But the 635 is a great start....

Something still isn't right because when you download the recips.zip file their are over 2200 recips in that file and why would they have you download all those files if you get only 100 tgp/mgp sites in the database to begin with.

That is because they haven't removed recips that are dead and just kept adding to the same recips. The number of recips in the paid members area of the updated databases is not near that number.

If you have a registered version of 2.4 you can update to the registered version of 3.0. 3.0 is one step above the 2.4 version.

My GTZ 05-07-2003 09:17 PM

What I really want is the database that 2.4 came with because the 100 sites to start out with is kind of a joke. You'd have to search hours and hours finding more sites to add to the database.

Ask on the forum and maybe someone will supply you with one, but even it did not have 1,000. I seem to remember around 700 and it was a bad database. Many dead sites, many not properly linked with correct links and correct recips etc. Bottom line is your will have to spend hours and hours on it also.

updates.advancedsubmitter.com has the newest shit when it comes to databases and recips.

a friend of mine handles the updates and shit to the databases, they've just been completely updated so you won't have any extra recips.

My GTZ 05-07-2003 09:37 PM

siccmade,

Do you have to pay for those updates or can I as a member download the newest database and recips?

Thank you.

You have to pay. And even the updated databases are not 100% correct...but they just started this service so it may improve.

My GTZ 05-07-2003 10:45 PM

I guess I'll just have to look through the 2200+ recips and start visiting the sites to see if they are worth adding to the database or not :)

pxtreme75 05-08-2003 12:17 AM

The old database has beed replaced with the top 120 TGP/MGP Sites.

The previous database was really outdated so I had to find a way to stabilized it through time. By adding only the top sites people won't discover dead sites anymore.

All the rest are moved to the payed database which is really cheap. This is the best solution I have find for stabilizing the quality of the database.

If you still want the old database you can still download it on members area.

The whole idea is for you to customize your own list

and anyway.. AS has a forum where u can ask him and complain... so why do it here?
