I can't help but agree with you. They are way too sweet.

But, my son loves them and they're building a Krispy Kreme here in Washington State...so he's happy....that's all that counts is the happiness of my son....19 and spoiled rotten :).

My wife tried to talk me into going there this morning. I'm not going any where near a Krispy Kreme on opening day. I've heard horror stories about the lines and the donuts aren't that good.

There's one in Washington now?! Hafta stop by and grab a dozen while I'm out there!

It's a different experience. The thing with Krispy's is they are ultra fresh tasting and very sweet. I'm a sweets freak, and I can't even handle more than a couple of those. Dunkin has more variety still, but you can only get them fresh tasting at 4 to 5AM usually. Usually you're a fan of one of the other once you try 'em both.

Fuck I had my first KrispyK in vegas when I jacked one from Lightspeeds room. Anyone care to send me a box? We dont get that shit in Canada.

Yes we do. There are 4 in Ontario. One just opened in Quebec, and they'll be opening two more. And 8 will be opening in the west.

I went for the first time to the new one today. It's a 5 min walk from my girlfriend's place. The lineup was about 20 mins, but it was worth it. There must have been 30-40 cars in live for drive thru. One guy was ordering 12 dozen!! 144 dounts.
