Gallery Thefts But Why ??
 

I've had someone using 3 different Domains Taking gallerys from TheHun and Adultbuffet and reloading them to his server..Then he adds different recips and submits them..
What gets me is he doesn't change the refer link on them so I still get credit for any signups..Also he leaves them up and doesn change them to redirect hells??
Didn't run this one but he doesn't add anything for himself!

These 2 he added banners on the bottom but still left my Nasty Dollar refer code on it..

I had the same problem. After 10 days the guy was redirecting all the traffic....They use your linkingcodes, because their own codes are already banned everywhere

I never said it was a bad deal for me..He doesn't change the gallerys either as a few I check back on have been there for months..
I cought it by looking at my Refer URLs in the Nasty Dollars stats..

it is a big deal because if he is using your codes and cheating it will come back on your head.

I get that a lot and it REALLY pisses me off in case my codes or designs get banned :mad:

I had one dumb fuck US webmaster rip off one of my galleries & submit it to me saying that he "even added my recip at the top". Although this prick changed my ticketcash code to his Wegcash code. At least when the Russians rip them off they have the good grace to not be so fucking stupid.

I had an ass last year took one of my gallerys for my pay site and used it himself but put a different site signup on it..
He even left all the images on my server and hotlinked them..
I left the thumbs alone but I took all the pix on it and put STOLEN, if you want to see these images go here and put my URL on them..He left it up for over 6 months before he took the gallery down..

Beacause you get your domains and affiliate codes banned for redirecting and changing pages after submission.

You're right... but... as you can notice, he doesn't need any sales from the gallery... This is all about traffic... It redirects me on... (one moment)... on some kind of dealer... :Oh crap

so the only problem for a gallery owner is ban on TGP, because of same design and same linking codes.

My submissions are still there for the TGPs and they don't redirect!

He puts them on his domains so if they did get Blacklisted it wouldn't hurt me..
And they don't BL affil codes, just Domains, IPs and Email addys

I've had peeps rips off my galleries and submit them back to me also, but they don't have to be from the US to be that stupid. Some of our Ruski bros are a lot better at coding than they are at common sense.

If they don't ban affilate codes, then there is no problem... but some TGP do.

Happens to me all the time. I look at sponsor referrer stats and see a domain that isn't mine. I go take a look and it's my gallery, my content, my sponsor codes, but a domain that isn't mine. I think these crooks are idiots.

But sponsor codes do get banned. My Silvercash code is banned at Easy Pic and suspect this is how it happened. Ah well, you win some and you lose some. :)

Umm, not. I have a long and distinguished list of banned linking codes in TGP Brownie, so yeah, linking codes can and do get banned.

No, it's a pain in the ass when someone steals your design and content. I just think it's funny when they're too stupid to change the linking codes. Fucking idiots ...

By the way, these galleries are nothing more than scriptwork... so our buddy Alexei can create a gallery for only 5 minutes...

Yes, they can sell something with this "quality" traffic... but let's count how many accounts and IPs can simply fly to blacklist for a week :( yeah... a lot of acconts...

That is letting the cheaters win though, although I can understand why it is done in that there is a virtually never ending pool of submitters. However I am not so sure that ostracising good honest webmasters who get ripped is in the TGP owners best interests as they are wiping out a potential long term relationship with a paying customer.

Its also why there is a certain inevitability that in the future everything TGP related will go partner & paid, and perhaps that isnt a bad thing long term.

the christmas one redirected me to pop up and dialer hell. He's probably using the server side script that redirects every 10th time but bans the first 2 ips that see the gallery from ever getting the redirect. And you're a reviewer? And you never list my galleries that never cheat?! No wonder Gallery submitting has gone to hell in a handbasket.
