Need server help now.
 

I need some server assistance ASAP. My paypal is kinda empty right this very second but will pay someone if they can get me fixed right now. I am good for it.

Server has no admin to deal with this crap, and I am sure I fucked something up. Getting some access denied problems, some php problems, etc. Just happened, was not this way before I tried to alter httpd.conf.

did you back it up before you messed around with it?

Will also toss in a few months free advertising, even full page on my webmaster site. Use it to promote your own program or it can use your refferal linking. Gets very good daily webmaster traffic.

I did make the httpd backup if that is what you mean.

replace th backup and see if evrything is back to normal. that way you know it was something you did. Also what did you alter? Your problem is alittle vague

The only thing I did before all hell broke loose was add a new domain.

Problems I am currently having.

Mysql will not stop (to reset it) say unable to connect to sock.

A php trade script page is not loading anymore just outputs the php page in text.

Getting access denied when I tried to do a few things at root level.

All of this started right after I made the change and rebooted the server.

what did you add avirtual host in your httpd file? Restore the backup and reboot. If shits still fucked up...... rubb one out

Yes added a virtual.

Hmmm dont think it was the httpd.conf file.

Ok anyone know how to force php to restart?

apachectl restart

That command is not found.


Ok I think something may be amiss with my httpd.conf after all I redid the steps and it stops fine but does not give the start ok.

When I run /sbin/service httpd start
