After twenty-five years of being with my wife I am going to meet her first husband Mark.

Mark and my wife's brothers were all friends, and went through high school together, and remained friends all of this time. Mark's parents lived very close to my wife's parents, so they all remained friends as well. In fact, I met Mark's parents once; His father was old school US Navy computer geek during the cold war so we talked for hours.

I am sorry. I failed to mention I do not have a choice in the matter. My wife's father died, and we are going to a memorial next month. Being as my wife's ex-husband was friends with her brothers, and her ex-husband's parents were friends with my wife's mother and my wifes father (who just passed), they will all be there.
