Movies you can laugh at again and again?

Was talking with someone about comedy movies, which I'm not into that much, but there are a few comedies that I can watch many times and laugh just as hard each time.

My top ones are:
  1. 40 Year Old Virgin
  2. Tommy Boy
  3. The Hangover

What are a few of yours?

Scary movie. The first one is a classic though the rest of them were utter shit

Porkies. Remember how much i used to laugh at the guys spying on the girls in the showers. Then the fat ugly teacher grabs his dick through the hole. Then the principal and other teachers in the office telling her they would put up wanted pics of his dick haha. Comedy gold.

The first 3 American Pie movies. My type of humour

Old School and Office Space are both on my list as well. If I happen to be flipping through channels and come across one I will always stop for a few minutes and watch.

escorpio 08-12-2019 06:41 PM

"Some Kind of Monster", the Metallica documentary. I know it's not officially a comedy but those guys are such total douchebags that shit is funnier than "Spinal Tap."

Nacho Libre. I watch it at least once a year.

Anything with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

beerfest

Grandmas Boy. It may not get that much respect in snobby film fan circles, but I saw it on a flight and the ENTIRE plane was laughing at all of the right parts. That's a funny movie.

Dirty Rotten Socundrels

I can start watching Step Brothers from whatever part. Seen it so many times and I always laugh.

tfto 08-12-2019 10:04 PM

Im not the laughing type . . .

PR_Glen 08-13-2019 08:53 AM

the thing with comedies is everyone knows all the classics but sometimes the best ones are where you aren't expecting them to be, movies you would otherwise think would be something idiotic but really works well.

1. the other guys. I didn't think walberg could pull off funny.. he kills it.. and Michael Keaton is great.

2. Step brothers. I don't even think i liked this movie the first time through, but there is SO much packed into it it's easy to miss a lot of it, give it another go.

3. talledega nights. another one that doesn't hit you hard the first time but the timing in this is perfection. better every time you see it.

4. joe dirt. david spade?? seriously?? YES! this movie i avoided for years and I was missing out. This is loaded with great stuff in there.

5. Very Bad Things. This one has a bit of a cult following and is truly a dark comedy at it's best but this is one is a rollercoaster of madness and hilarious along the way. Loaded cast yet little known but I'd give this one a shot.

Yeah, i know. But it had comedic moments. Definitely wouldn't fly these days.
In retrospect it had some "did he just do that?" moments.
