Paxum - Trucash Card Fuckery
 

Did anybody get any further with getting money off the old Trucash cards? After getting a response from the Credit Union saying I'd hear more I never did.

Sorry to interrupt, but I didn't even receive a Trucash card even if it says "Shippped" on their website, so i can't tell...

The biggest problem is that RuthB is MIA.. Wrote her a mail on Tue, Jul 30, 11:20 AM (8 days ago) and she never replied...

She's not MIA, she's just selective in which questions she chooses to answer.

Seems like Paxum has washed their hands of the issue and the Credit Union isn't going to do shit.

I didn't have any relationship with the Credit Union but I did with Paxum. I personally hold Paxum responsible not that it's going to help.

I managed to empty my Trucash card via a simple Paypal transfer to a friend.

Yes some people seem to have been able to do that - Mine comes up denied. I don't know if that has anything to do with my location (Canada)?

I got mine out using my square credit card reader …

I requested a MasterCard on 2019-01-09 and UnionPay Card on 2019-05-02 and have not seen either or.. Can't wait for the next bullshit card I get to pay for.

Maybe they will introduce a bullshit inactivity fee for the non use of the card, the same as they do with accounts.

Great business model, whittle down everything customers have with monthly fees, measured across thousands of customers it's a great little "scheme".

Then you scroll down and see tons of threads with titles: fuck you paxum, paxum bullshit, paxum fees, etc

No.For over 6 weeks i´m waiting for few k´s from my old card.

I'm in Canada and mine continued to work with Paypal till empty. I'm actually surprised it doesn't work for you in Canada. Beside linking it to PayPal did you try anything else? Buying gaz or something?

Yeah I've tried it on PayPal and a few gas stations and what not - no fucking luck. I only have ~$1000 on there that I actually just forgot about, but still nice to get that back.

I still can log to https://www.trucash.com to check my balance, can you?

I guess next step for you is to email service at trucash.com and ask them why your card doesn't work at all!

They won't help. Trucash says to contact paxum, paxum says to contact trucash, neither give you a solid answer. I have only like $500 trapped on there, but still annoying. I stopped accepting Paxum and tell this story to every client that even suggests it. The way I view it, money was entrusted to paxum.

This is more or less exactly how I feel. Paxum doesn't even seem to give a fuck either.
