anybody else notice the pornlist sites are listing pirate sites like pornbb?? :Oh crap i have seen a few big sites listing blogs with full sponsor videos. :disgust oh man im looking at one that advertises with a user here taking screenshots... should i post them?

I buy traffic from juicy ads and they are painted all over those places. I too wish they didn't exist, but they do.. and it's never going back.

Blackmail? I don’t see “if you don’t pull links I’ll out you here and I want a thousand bucks to not post it”.

He wants to expose piracy. It won’t stop it but it will notify us who is corrupt. Word gets around and exposing them with proof might help.

If I saw my movies or content being posted, I’d want to know where and who. Copyright infringement continues but take one down and keep going.

Nobody cares because money talks. Those pirate sites bring in more than most affiliates combined.

How do they do that?

I am going to generalize in my explanation and keep in mind I am not advocating for pirate sites. I am just explaining how it works:

- Big sponsors let pirate sites become affiliates and that generate sales. There is massif volume and you'd be surprised how well that traffic still converts.
- Pirate sites also sell traffic to ad networks. This allows sponsors to buy back the traffic it generates AND buy the traffic their direct competitors generate on those sites.
- Bigger CPA networks turn a blind eye to the sites because that traffic also creates a lot of cam/dating/cpa sales.

The amount of traffic they generate usually dwarfs what most affiliates can send, so in the end, alot of programs decide to play along or risk losing that traffic/money to competitors who will work with the pirate sites.

There was a thread a year or so ago with one bitching about another, and that exact thing was brought up. The thing is, the one doing the bitching was doing the exact same thing.
