Whenever I have visitors I take them up to Cabrillo Point. If you want a GOOD view of San Diego, go to Cabrillo Point.
Driving across the Coronado Bridge is always fun, too. Haha, after 18 months, I still love that damn bridge. Hey! Maybe someone will jump off it this weekend!? |
Every time I go to San Diego it never fails that the first thing I hear when I turn on the local news there is that traffic is backed up because some idiot is trying to jump off the Coronado Bridge.
I was born and raised in San Diego. I try to get back there every chance I get. I have a friend that I stay with every now and then that has a house a block from the El Cortez. Nice to be able to walk downtown and hang out. |
Seaport Village is a great place to visit, Then the Prado has some great food in Balbo Park.
Night life in the Gas Lamp district downtown has something for everyone. Have a fun time while you are in our City Cindy xx |

I live in good ol' Sin City :P Viva Las vegas, Baby! er...yeah. |
I spent a few months in San Diego a couple of years ago. First, there are military bastards everywhere. Then you have a very high percentage of people who are hispanics who barely speak English. The place is also polluted by snobby rich girls with 2 digit IQ's.
My best memory was eating cheap cheeseburgers at Rally's in El Cajon. I also spent an evening on Coronado beach that turned out to be quite memorable. Fuck San Diego. |
well if you were in El cajon you were in the wrong place, brutha! Coronado is alright IF YOU'RE 85 YEARS OLD.
I mean people put out their first impression to the world cuz they didn't have a good time but lemme tell ya there's very FEW other places in the world that i'd rather live in full time. San Diego has never let me down. It has great weather, lots of hot girls, stuff to do, good job market, great body modification artists, excellent transit system and a damn good baseball team. Most of the military is out of town right now btw.. we were at war a month ago?? hmm? Im born & raised Dago 34 years. Wanna know ANYTHING? Just ask. |
Pacific Beach Block Party this Saturday.
Tons of bands, tons of booze.. tens of thousands of young people getting trashed all day/all night. Highly recommended.. |

What did you think about the convention? As a Vegas person, were you involved in the organization or just there for fun? What city do you think will get it next? Some folks are talking about a London bid |

Seriously though, I live in Mission Bay and absolutely love San Diego and concur with you on your other points. |
hehe
I was wondering about the "damn good baseball" team as well. I love my city, but our baseball team sucks! Lazycash.... You picked the right part of town to live in :) |
