NW Airlines needs to burn in a pit in HELL @!$%
They lost my luggage. They really lost my luggage! It has been 4 days and they are telling me the bags are gone for good. I had been in Europe for like 9 days. All of my clothes were in those bags. I'm fucked. They are only offering me 200 bucks a bag.

LOL, 200 a bag?
WTF?? |

I always check that shit in now days to not get harrrased during the security walk through check now days. But now im thinking I shouldnt do that anymore. |
haha ok man you lost your clothes ....
I almost lost my rights to visit U.S - forever - due to Air France fucking up and not registering the fact that I actually LEFT U.S when I visited L.A ... so when I came to Miami IA this year they told me I couldn't enter the country ... WHO HOO. due to all piercings, tattoos, scarrs and the colombian citizenship upon my Swedish one they didn't even believe me when I said they were wrong... now that's being fucked... I solved it tho, but I felt fucked for quite some time... not that I would know the feeling but... wtf... stick to the issue here. |
Post on CJ the number of who you've been talking to at NW. Maybe after a few thousand calls they'll find your shit.

well you have a point there, I've been stopped in customs and searched through and all that pretty much every time I've ever tried to go anywhere ... but it's always been solved since, I'M INNOCENT!! =D so yeah, they REALLY lost your bags, that REALLY sucks ... my bad, I always keep thinking they'll solve anything down the road, sue them! |

I bet they have online booking, so get your programmer to write a script that will try to place false bookings online... then execute that one 6 million times a day and whola .. PAYBACK! |
Sorry to hear that bro, missing luggage sucks.
What stops people from taking other peoples bags at the luggage claim? I think about that everytime I claim my luggage. If someone really wanted to they could steal luggage with no problem. Grab it and walk out the door. Free $4000 notebook computer on that conveyor thing with no real chance of getting caught. Baggage claim is outside of security and right by the door almost everytime. So I think missing bags are a result of luggage theives. |

I love the Thrillhammer. Actually, my girlfriend loves it more. Simply amazing. |
They lost my luggage when I went to Vegas this year. $2000 worth of golf clubs, all my clothes, etc. Thankfully they showed up the next day. Would really suck for them to be lost permanently. The sad part is you sign away your right to sue when you buy the ticket. They have a maximum they have to pay you and that's it. Hell, my suitcase cost more than $200.
|
Ah yes, Northwest/KLM... I'm having flashbacks to a KLM flight out of Curacao where they threatened to kick me off the plane...
|
Rick that sucks balls.
Continental lost my luggage on the way TO Amsterdam. They didn't apologize, they only authorized me $25 to spend on new clothes. That's like 22 euros, I couldn't even get a pair of socks for that in Amsterdam. Northwest lost my stuff in January a couple days before the Vegas show. They found it a couple days after they lost it, then lost it again, drove over it, and then delivered it destroyed a couple hours before my Vegas flight. They then argued with me that the bag was overstuffed and they didn't need to pay to have it fixed. Fuck those fucking fucks. |

That should make CNN... and then you'd probably get more than $200 :glugglug |
Damn Rick.
Sorry to hear it ... Look on the bright side.. You get to shop for a bunch of new clothes... Oh wait.. That would be my wifes bright side! :-( |
I believe you can make a claim on your homeowner's insurance if there was enough to make it worth your while.
Only a man would be able to put all his clothes into his luggage. :1orglaugh |
I got a suitcase back once that had been competely ripped in half down the middle and then taped back together. Someone had written "Sorry about this" on the tape.
Only thing missing was my razor so I was lucky. Suitcase was $250 and they authorized me a whole $100 for a new suitcase. |
Rick, while I'm sorry you lost your shit, this is a blessing in disguise.
I respect you enough to tell you this: some of those shirts were just plain ugly, man. LOL. |
That sucks. When I travel, my valuable stuff (camera, laptop, etc.) goes carry-on in a day pack (in a tight plane, they can even take your carry-on luggage and stick it in the hold, but you always get to keep a day pack, because it can go under a seat).
When I shop for coats, I look for ones with lots of pockets so that the coat actually functions as a kind of carry-on holding a CD player and a few CD's and other small items like that. Don't put anything on your belt: they can count that as a carry-on. Ditto for anything with a shoulder strap. I had a CD in a small (6"x6"x1") bag over my shoulder once. They told me if I didn't put it in my pack, it'd count as a "personal item" (and I was already counting on my day pack as the personal item). I pointed out how absurd that was and they just shrugged. Rules are rules, I guess, and you don't want to protest too much in the security line or you may get taken into the back room and cavity searched! So, I made room for it in the pack, which was already bursting at the seams. Coats and jackets aren't regarded as luggage. |
Hey Rick, you sure you weren't coming back from Iraq?
