the USA is being replaced

not looking good:

Oh the damage is done that's for sure. That's why a lot of treaties and talks that were literally frozen for years started moving after Trump. For example the deal between the EU and Latin America, it was frozen for almost 15 years and it's now about to be signed thanks to people wanting to isolate themselves from the US as much as possible. The now real push for a unified EU army, the Japanese trade deal with the EU (biggest trade deal in history), the Japanese realizing the US is unreliable and that pushing them to try to get closer to other Asian countries like Taiwan and South Korea. Many countries getting closer to China because they don't want to rely entirely on the US anymore, like for example Italy becoming the first EU country to sign a Belt and Road agreement with China (with more about to join them).

Trump did more to damage US power than anyone else in history, the fact that at least 60% of career diplomats have resigned and moved into the private sector is devastating (and that was in 2018, now things are much worse). People with decades of experience in international politics and doctorates in history, international law, linguistics and economics quitting and getting replaced by Trumps Mar-a-Lago's buddies. That will have a massive lasting impact.

So is it good or bad that the EU made those treaties?

Cause you suggest it was a good thing the former US presidents where able to interfere and stop those EU treaties.

But if you think it is good the EU made those treaties we have to thank Trump that the EU was finally able to do so.

I think it is not good, the Amazon rainforest will be gone thanks to Brazil, EU and China.
And why would we be happy to do business with a country like China who put millions of people in concentration camps.
Well, who can name something possitive about China, not a free country at all. Now they install apps on tourist phones to follow them and hack their data.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...ourists-phones.
But the EU likes to do business with dictators, profit from child labour, sell cars that pollute, as long as it makes money.
Holland made a new Climate Goal for Holland. Now we push industry that makes a lot of CO2 (cars/meat) to Asia and south America, than import those goods, so we can say we pollute less.
A EU army, i am happy i don't have to join the military, i would never shoot a gun for those fools running the EU.

Everyone needs the USA.

Only thing that matters is that our Army can destroy anyone elses. When it can't then its time to worry.

I believe in "europe first" and it is good to have a 2nd choice...if there is nobody else to turn to but the USA, this obviously is not good for the EU...if we can turn to china, IF the USA is becoming shit, then this will make the USA treat us nicer in the future and not like some protection racket bitches...

I can not say it is good or bad economically, but I am sure it is good for our freedom and independence while the scam of conventional warfare lasts...there is a lot of stuff we can leverage if we have "elsewhere to go"....

lastly, the USA was never our friend...we are a dumpster for their foreign policy and it is time we stop treating the USA like a friend until they change...
