Hired securty guard at the Denver STEM school shooting shot 1 student & shot at cops

The document also revealed that a hired school security guard responding to the gunfire accidentally shot a female student. According to the record, several officers reported that the guard fired twice at a Douglas County Sheriff's lieutenant.

The guard said he saw "a muzzle" come around a corner. The record said one of the guard's shots wounded a female student inside a classroom.

This was a hired security contractor that you would assume has training. Yet in the confusion he managed to shoot 1 female student and shot at police officers as they entered the school.

Meanwhile Trump & Republicans want to arm teachers.. Perhaps we should just arm the kids instead they seem to be better at it....

And yet still people think having armed security roaming the halls of our schools is a good idea.

Yes it's proof untrained or badly trained people are worse than no one at all. Further proof is the actions of the school guard at the Parkland shooting who ran away..

Right wing logic never works because they are either too incompetent or too stupid to do anything right. Meaning everything they do is half assed..

Guns & children what could go wrong?

Paul Markham 06-22-2019 06:42 AM

Hiring armed private security people always was stupid idea. If gun owners are convinced they should keep the Second Amendment as it is, then a tax of guns that allows the police to bolster up their force to place two police persons at each and every school is the way to go. Then as the shooters turn their attention to other unguarded premises the tax should be increased to cover more police at those places.

Pay for your privileges.

guns and ammo are already subject to federal excise taxes.
plus training course, application/permits/renewal costs.

Why are you lying? You are not required to take any classes, or buy permits or fill out any application to buy a gun..or ammo..

If you buy a new gun from a retailer then yes you have to fill out some paper work and wait 2 days before picking it up. The only time you have to get a permit is to conceal carry but many states you can open carry with no permit required..

Meanwhile you can, legally buy a gun from a individual with out any paperwork required. Yes certian types of guns ie full auto require extensive background checks and a whole lot of hoops to obtain a license but that is not the norm..

Do you have to register your gun?
However, it is not required that owners of long guns purchased prior to 2014 register their firearms and it is not a crime to be in possession of an unregistered firearm. While the Firearm Safety Certificate is required for new purchases of firearms, ongoing possession of a firearm does not require a license or permit.

You realize there is more to this country than California right?
which is where you copied that last part of your post from...

Go look up the laws for Massachusetts (where you know I live), then come back you ill-informed cunt.

No it was google.. and that is federal law not state. States can have a variety of different rules or laws but it's not the same everywhere
