This weekend in the UK one of the tv channels ran a big show called '100 Greatest Film Stars'. They were ranked by public votes and the top ten were the following:

These kind of polls just reflect current thinking.

How could any list of the greatest film actors not have Brando in the top 10 and where is Bogart?

Other than those two ommissions this list seems about right. Might just change the order.

Maybe Bogart who starred is some of the best movies of all time, along with John Wayne, cause he is the Duke. Maybe not a great actor, but he was John Wayne.
