Just FYI: only in one battle for Kursk Soviets killed 860 thousands of German troops and destroyed more than 6000 tanks and about 2000 aircrafts.

My father was there ferrying the wounded back to Britain. Later taking POWs back to Britain. there wasn't many of them.

Without the supplies from America Russia wouldn't of had the arms, my Father was also in the Navy convoys doing the trip.

My father was one of the few survivors of a kamikaze attack in the Pacific. He was a merchant marine and in the crow's nest and alerted the crew. Was in the water for two days! Amazing he survived (and thankfully he did otherwise no me).

The Nazis weren't invading America at the time.

Let's not compare battles, they were ALL horrible.

Germany invaded Russia and nearly won, if they had started sooner you would be speaking German now.

But no one is saying the Russians didn't do a lot. But Stalin's aim was to take over the rest of Europe. Without the Allies going in and winning in the West they would have. Where did the Soviet Union start in the West and where did Russians troops get to? You'll see the two lines are similar.

The first country he would and should take was Yugoslavia that even wasn't in "western" block (and it never was) at the moment they refused to listen to Stalin and communist party there gone against Cominform even if the organization was founded in Belgrade (capital of Yugoslavia) in 1947 and first assembly was there.
