I totally thought the Marshall Mathers LP was 1998 or something, but it turns out it's 2000. Was going to post Criminal.

Anyway, here's your criminal government

optics 06-05-2019 06:15 PM

The most 90's-sounding band ever, but I bet none of you have heard of them. Their debut album, from which this song is taken, came out the same week as RATM's debut. Was my chosen "machine" then, and still is.

(omfg, I'm posting The God Machine on GFY)

Do check out their post-90s albums.

One of very few bands that kept on getting better with age

davidCRM 06-06-2019 01:06 AM

it was musically a crap (as in: transitional) decade, the only genuinely good song made in the 90s is this one:

no, that would be now.

The music scene now is (((transitioning))) to a lower-IQ population. You can't honestly say that it's better.

This was my 1st song I heard of theirs and also still my favorite song by them. Same with Weezer the 1st song was Sweater Song and it's still my favorite.

You completely missed "Gish" when it came out? Were you living under a rock or just very lame?
