Best php forum software w/multiple site license?

Ok - so it looks like vBulletin is the best thing going right now for forum software.

But at $160 a pop for each site license its a bit touchey, I don't need a lot of the features.

Anyone know any good reliable, stable, and resonably secure packages that include site licenses for up to 10 sites on the same license?

Hmmm interesting - have never heard of them before. Support for modding looks good too. Skins make all the difference.. i can't stand the free look.

Thanks!

With PHP accel installed serverside and gzip, it absolutely flies and takes up next to no resources. Although, as you can see by the post counts we're not incredibly busy. Maybe 10-20 active users on it at any given time...nothing major.

As far as security goes, we've had no issues at all.

I'll refer my business buddy to this thread. He's the guy that installed it and handles most of the technical aspects of it...so he can throw in his 2 cents.
