Musk has launched his 1st round of 60 satellites that will provide global internet access.

They have all successfully launched and deployed their solar panels ect..

I saw a video of these satellites and people are complaining because they're only 300 miles from Earth and they are brighter, and bigger, than the stars when you look up. my guess is because these satellites are so small that they can't transmit as far so they have to be closer to earth.

The normal distance from earth satellites usually orbit is 1,242 miles.

Here's video of the satellites in orbit

No he's not.

He's publicly admonished Putin many many times that's why Putin and his bots relentlessly troll him on social media.

Russia is going to lose about 3 billion dollars a year in space transport revenue as Musk takes back space travel for America.

That's only a temp thing, they actually have to climb up to a higher altitude where they wont be easily visible. It's supposed to take about 2 to 3 weeks for them to get to their correct orbit.

Thanks for the info! I googled it and it looks like they are going to orbit at 340 miles from Earth. Which is still almost 1/4 the distance normal satellites orbit Earth. Very interesting :thumbsup

The Federal Communications Commission has given SpaceX permission to launch nearly 12,000 Starlink craft.
