I have just tried the Oculus Quest and I am happy to announce...
 

.. that VR finally is ready for the mass market.

Easy to set up, no cables, 6 DOF, excellent picture quality, very good tracking - overall it blows the competition out of the water.

This is a device that covers 90+% of the use cases of VR, only hardcore gamers might stick to the high end devices like Rift or Vive.

Go buy it, it's only $399- no additional PC needed.

This is the one I was pretty sure I was buying, but now I think it's official.

Here at work, we work on HTC vive, Oculus Rift and PSVR... and of course now on Oculus Quest and I concur on what Stefan said! ThisVR Headset is just fabulous and will make the VR mainstream.

Is Quest the one that does not require a computer? If so, how are the graphics compared to one that does?

no computer required

graphic details are slightly reduced compared to the tethered devices but if you never played Beat Saber on a full blown Rift before, you will not even notice.

I think the image quality is most important for porn. I've been using Google daydream with my pixel3 on wankzvr.com and while the quality is good, even the highest rez could look much better.

Could that be anointed as the ultimate fap ? ?

Will never last in porn. Too expensive to shoot it properly and you can't fap or fuck wearing all that shit on your head..:2 cents:

Not more expensive than regular porn and fapping works fine. But I wasn't talking about porn anyways, I was talking about VR in general.

I have the Oculus Go and its a good bit of kit. Paid £200 or so for it. Im debating selling it and using the cash towards a quest. Wouldnt mind finding someone or a shop that has it for a test run

You got amazon prime? If so, just order it from them, try it out and then return it if you dont like it...
