Any good books to learn php ?

I really would like to know some php, any good books that can teach me the basics, to the advanced stage quick?

And are there any online bookstores that have free shipping in Canada now?

The php website is pretty well documented.... (www.php.net )
There's several tutorials, a huge manual, user contibution etc....
Of course some people prefer to have it in a book... (there's several edition of the official php manual that you can buy...)

Ask Juicylinks (?).

Julie Meloni has 2 php books that are pretty well written and easy to follow for a beginner to php.

Thanx, ya I would prefer books instead of on screen stuff. Every online book place I search, I get hundreds of results, so I dont wanna read that much, just a few really good books...

if you're not new to programming, then the manual is the best. if you are, then you need a beginner book that also teaches programming concepts
