I partially listened to the news and heard that Nipsey Russell was murdered. I barely remember him from TV game shows with celebs. I started thinking that he must be 125 years old and didn’t rap.

I read a lot of articles about Nipsey Hussle and apparently he was quite intelligent and always looking to help people. I don’t know about his talent but as an American he worked hard to improve lives and do good for people.

It’s really sad because he was a good role model for kids. No drugs or alcohol, helped people, worked hard, loved his kids and did positive rap, not the hardcore gangsta rap with talk of ni**as killing cops.

Six shots meant business. Apparently he tweeted that today “enemies are good to have” or words to that effect and he’d been shot at before, at least twice.

RIP.

Nipsey got killed by his own people's. Dude didn't like the fact Nipsey kicked him out of his clothing store for snitching. Came back shooting. Killed that man on his own property. Think about that. Nipsey "wasn't supposed to" own that lot... Along with the retail stores on it, with plans to build a 6 story building above it in motion... Documentaries coming out, etc. (hence the seeds for race bait conspiracies)

He was supposed to meet with LAPD & Roc Nation today to strategize on ways to curb LA gang violence.

Ain't nothing more fucked up than a snitch that kills. All these fake "woke" online personalities are trying to capitalize off this. Cowards.

kind of weird shit... hussle owned the whole strip mall yet some of the stores videos had been removed. meaning they knew who did it and now he is going to get owned. wow!... the suspected shooter eric holder is also rollin 60's

Didn’t listen yet but I’m a little surprised his rap was not positive. Then again, he’s not Will Smith. At least his real life was devoted to good karma.

His tweet is so sad. A personal beef, not gang violence, and the guy thinks he’s all that because he got a gun and blew him away. I’m sure prison will have guys ready to kill him for the death.

I’ve got mixed feelings about the publicity surrounding this. Every day young black kids are murdered. People just say they chose the life and now they’re dead. Another project victim and shit like that. Unless you’re famous, no one cares. Part of me thinks that the publicity about this is wrong or not right because other people do good things and they get killed. But all you hear is a gang member or drug dealer or another stereotype was killed.

Society needs to learn that not all younger black guys are bad and many are killed by mistaken identity or something minor. Disrespect a guy and bam.
