All I want is for Sobe to honor his original agreement. The only reason this is being debated on GFY is that every time I think I have an agreement with this guy he renegs.

The 10 sets were samples to check the quality. I was always intending to purchase 80 sets and that was made clear to Sobe from the outset.

Forgive me if I'm wrong here. It's 5.30 AM and I can hardly keep my eyes open much longer. I read the other thread about this yesterday and also took a quick look at it now. And from what I remember you first wanted the docs, then later in the thread said you wanted a refund instead, and that was all you were interested in.

I know there was a bit back and forth in the original thread, but still. First you wanted the docs, then changed your mind and asked for a refund (which Sobe have agreed to give you) and today you're saying you want the docs again?!?

All I ever wanted was for Sobe to sell me some sets + docs like we originally agreed. Yes it reached a point where it seemed clear that I wasn't going to receive the docs so I requested a refund. But after Boneprone said that I WOULD get the docs I stopped, calmed down a bit, and decided that if the docs were available it would be foolish not to follow through with the purchase. But apparently the deal has been taken off the table again.

You seriously need to make up your mind instead of being so fickle about things. Either you want the content or you don't. As far as I can see Sobe is giving you the docs requested. Adding out of the blue that you want to buy more AND have docs, ammending your first requrest is a little.. deceptive, is it not? And wouldn't this matter better be solved between yourself and Sobe, not you and Sobe and the entire known world.

And who are you to dictate BP4L law? I'm not family, but I sure know BS when I smell it, and in presuming to know what other people/organizations that you have no knowledge of/affiliation with have as rules/precepts, you are showing yourself to be rather.... unintelligent? Huh? The 10 sets were intended to be samples to check the quality prior to purchasing 80 sets. This was always the case and Sobe was aware of this fact from the outset.

Yes, it would be much better to resolve it in private. But Sobe refused to honor our agreement and I thought that a bit of public shaming might resolve the issue.

I know what you initially wanted from the deal, but this is getting a bit out of hand realy. As I said in my last post;
you first wanted the docs as you were prommised. Sobe refused to give them out even if he had been foolish enough to say you would get them (and I can understand his reasons for not providing those docs also)

Now you named your previous thread "Is SoBeGirl a man of his word?" And although there was a bit back and forth I'll answer a big YES to that. As he said many times yeasterday he was trying his best to do what was right. Both in protecting his biz and your arangement. And he's proven that he's reasonable to deal with even if it wasn't as smooth as it might should have been.

Look....If Sobe had done what he promised in the first place then none of this would be an issue. When Groove asked for a refund, Sobe did not process it. Sobe instead returned and said he would honor giving the docs. He has not refunded OR given docs per the initially proposal.

This is cut and dry. Give the guy what you said you would give him in the first place. It is called being a reputable businessman. If for some reason you are not able to provide what was initially agreed on, make it right...Make the customer as happy as you can make him.

This is about good business. Nothing else.

1) I make a deal with Sobe to purchase sets + docs.
2) I send Sobe money for sample sets.
3) Sobe sends the sets but refuses to provide docs.
4) I ask for a refund (which I never get).
5) Boneprone tells Sobe to give me the docs.
6) The deal seems to be back on the table, so I tell
Sobe I'd like to complete the transaction.
7) Sobe again refuses to give me the docs.

At what part of this chronology am I not honoring my word?

You started a thread to make hime give you the docs. You later in that thread say "fuck it" and demand an refund. By that time he agreed and offered you the docs, but no... you wanted your cash back. Fine he agrees to give you a refund and told you to contact him on ICQ to get it done. And today you don't want a refund anymore?!?!?! And you say HE doesn't honour his word? He's even offered you the refund in this thread too? Or did you miss that part? lol

I'd deal with Sobe anyday after reading theese two threads. You on the other hand seem to have a less smooth aproach when it comes down to good business. Sobe has proven to be more than reasonable. :2 cents:

The opinions expressed by the "godfather" of the family is not necessarily the same opinions shared by other members of the family.

I will say this in Sobe's defense....They have been selling content for 3 years or so and this is the first complaint I have ever heard. Mistakes do happen. What is important is how those mistakes are taken care of.

I asked for a refund BEFORE Boneprone said that docs would be available. After the original deal was apparently put back on the table, and after I'd had a chance to calm down and think about it, I decided to accept that offer. But again Sobe refuses to give me the docs. And you somehow twist that around so that I'm the one who's not honoring their word? :eek7

While Sobe was posting to this thread (ie I know that he was online) I sent him an ICQ saying that if he was not going to honor our agreement he should at least send my a refund by Paypal. He did not reply. Talk is cheap my friend. I will judge Sobe by his actions and his actions prove that he is not a man of his word.

well, to me ur doing some twisting too. according to your post sobe has agreed to give you the docs for the sets you paid for....but you keep saying he refuses to give you the docs....but you are talking about sets you havent even ordered yet. dont order them....take the 10 you got with docs and be happy.

Have you contacted Sobe today and talked with him on ICQ asking for the refund he agreed to give you yeaterday? And when talking to him on ICQ, did he then refuse to give you your money back? Yes or no

I contacted him via ICQ while he was posting to this thread and he ignored my message.

I can pefectly understand why he don't feel like talking to you though, after all this.
Now if you on the other hand don't get your money back I'd say you have something to be upset about, and that would indeed make him look bad.

But not going through with the original agreement between you after all the back and forth on your part is just right imo. Let's not forget the fact that you did terminate that deal yourself when demanding that refund in your previous thread.

If Sobe had sent the refund when I first asked for it, this would all be over by now. But he didn't. The deal was later put back on the table (ie. Boneprone told him to give me the docs and Sobe *AGREED* to this arrangement!). Now when I try to proceed with this offer of sets + docs v2.0, he again refuses to provide docs. And when I try to contact him via ICQ offering to accept a refund he ignores me. Would you be happy with this scenario if you were in my shoes?
