Mueller's Team Just Announced Who Will Be Prosecuted Next

...and it's Obama's White House counsel!

Lobbying Case Against Democrat With Ties to Manafort Reaches Key Stage

Obama WH counsel faces possible prosecution in Mueller-initiated probe

Former Obama White House Counsel and Clinton-linked attorney Greg Craig may soon be charged by the Justice Department for engaging in illegal unregistered overseas lobbying, in a case initially probed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller -- a development that would make him the first Democrat to face prosecution amid the long-running Russia investigation.

The case centers on lobbying work that Craig performed in 2012 for the Russian-backed president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, while Craig was a partner at the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Craig allegedly never registered as a foreign agent under a U.S. law known as the Foreign Agents Registration Act, or FARA, which requires lobbyists to declare publicly if they represent foreign leaders, governments or their political parties...

Still waiting to see evidence of Trump-Russia "collusion"!

Outstanding.

This is not about going after Republicans. It's about finding criminals. If they are Democrats, great, charge them, and let them plead guilty or go to trial.

Nice find, Acepimp! But you forgot to include this:

Quote:

The investigation centers on whether Mr. Craig should have disclosed work he did in 2012 — while he was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom — on behalf of the Russia-aligned government of Viktor F. Yanukovych, then the president of Ukraine.

The work was steered to Mr. Craig by Paul Manafort, who was then a political consultant collecting millions of dollars from clients in former Soviet states.

You're welcome!

That's a bingo! Criminals are criminals, no matter what polls say or Jerb-numbers show. I'm sure Ace will agree with you on this one.

Beer time!

Yes, Manafort in 2012 was doing the shady lobbying work for the Podesta Group. This all ties back to Hillary & her buddies.

Wow. Everyone around Trump is indicted, soon to be indicted (including Trump himself) or going to jail. But you're getting all excited about the idea of an Obama official who may or may not have failed to register as a foreign agent being charged. You're the king of putting things in perspective.

Bronco- you seem to have forgotten about the IG and prosecutor Huber, who has a team of 470 investigators who are filing charges. There are currently 80,000 sealed cases/indictments filed across the US. (In a normal year there are about 1,200)

Get ready for a lot more indictments. (It won't be Trump)

It's called the moral high ground. It's something modern day Republicans fail to understand at any level.

It's not Democrat vs Republican. It's not Democrat vs Trump. It's always been right vs wrong. Since day one. If the FBI or a local district attorney believes a crime has been committed, I want it investigated and if they believe someone is guilty I want charges pressed. Always. You want to investigate Hillary Clinton again - sure, let's do it. Let's investigate her for the 18th time just to make sure.

I expect my government to hold itself accountable. Doesn't matter which side of the aisle they are one.
