Keep in mind most of this is 1960s technology.... At least the AC-130 is. They used to cause holy hell with the AC-130. They used to call them "Spooky" because you would never see them or here them.

The amount of ammo used to kill one person by the US military is actually surprising. I've read anything from 13k rounds to 50k rounds to kill one enemy.

thats quite misleading given that the very purpose of a machine gun in addition to nearly all automatic fire is suppression, not "killing" the enemy.

I love Sentry bots, but they generate a lot of heat and then they have pop open the vents on their backs, and expose both of their fusion cores. It's a serious vulnerability that RobCo Industries needs to address.
