WHY are you so anxious to start taping with this cam?
The picture's fuzzy and the instant the camera doesn't have DIRECT light going into the lens, vision drops to 10%.
It looks like the output from my 4-yr old Sony analog cam.

What kind of cam is it?

It's a CANON GL2. I have poor light quality in this room with only one 100 watt bulb. I also had the UV lens on the cam to make it more dark because I forgot to take it off. I also captured it with a PCI capture card and not firewire and I also compressed it to 384kb output 352x240. When I tape the real thing it will be MUCH better.

and yes it was sort of a hey look at me thing. damn right.


edit: because if the bigtimers can do it well hey I'm going to be a big timer real soon might as well start now.
