Now confirmed Trump forced them to give Ivanka security clearance as well..
Trump once again lied and continues to lie to the American people. Ivanka just like Kushner failed her security background checks and it was recommended that she not be granted security clearances.
Trump involved himself once again to pressure his chief of staff to grant it anyway.. https://www-m.cnn.com/2019/03/05/pol...ure/index.html Called it... |
She's a liar like her dad.
She and her dad have been denying this. Funny how chump hands them out to those who can't pass a security clearance check and wants to strip it from others |

Recommendations. The president doesn't have to do whatever some bureaucrat says.
You're hysterical. :1orglaugh |
Trump is the quintessential old school New York hustler.
Could be a good quality, not for being president tho. |

Good, I will let know Hilary .... |
You'll have to be more specific. There's no wrongdoing here.

Good quality for a used car salesman.. Thats all Trump would be without his daddy's money.. |
Article states: "While Trump has the legal authority to grant clearances.."
But Crockett's thread title says "Trump forced them.." Wrong! "Trump has the legal authority to grant clearances.." Another FALSE Crockett thread easily debunked- by his own article! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |

In both cases Kushner and Ivanka failed their background checks. The security people (FBI/CIA) both said they shouldn't get cleared. In both cases the Chief of Staff said no, WH lawyers said no.. Trump then forced them to give the clearance to override everyone else. If Hillary had won and did this with her daughter are you saying you wouldn't care? Be honest... because we know how much of a shit fit Republicans had when Chelsea was going to run the Clinton foundation.. |

Kushner and Ivanka are both very accomplished and totally qualified to work in the administration. Also in case you missed it: Article states: "While Trump has the legal authority to grant clearances.." :1orglaugh |

Is this the experience you support? Is this the "best people"? Her only qualification it seems is the's anti-gay.. "Republicans just advanced the judicial nomination of 36 year-old Allison Jones Rushing for the 4th Circuit (NC). She has practiced law for just 9 years, only tried 4 cases to verdict or judgment in her career (none as lead counsel), and isn’t even a member of the NC bar." Senator Dick Durbin https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md...8ae9&tid=sm_rd |
Trump supporters are fucking idiots.
|
None of these people have foreign policy experience or intelligence experience.... Why do they have the highest level of security clearances?

Yep Kushner is billions of dollars in debt and Ivanka runs a shoe shop. Great qualifications |
Trump, Kushner and Ivanka have done nothing but line their pockets and cut taxes for themselves and fellow elite.

he lied and he said: No. I don´t think that I have the authority to do that. But I wouldn´t. I wouldn´t do it! so did he lie yes or no ? |

Whats the point in running around in circles complaining about it. He can give a clearance to anyone he wants. Name a President that didn't do dirty shit. Name one that did everything just the way that everyone wanted. Name one that will in the future.
Just one. C'mon, name them. |

Yes, every President lies, and does shady shit we likely never even hear about, and many of them use their power for personal gain in some way. There is no questioning that. However, those Presidents didn't just spend 2 years screaming about Hillary Clinton's emails and how terrible it is that she allowed potentially classified material to get into the hands of those who shouldn't see it, and now we find out he has people in his administration in very powerful positions who can't even pass the background check to get the clearance and yet they are still right in the middle of it handling classified stuff every day and in classified meetings. Where I grew up we call that hypocrisy. |

The difference with Trump is: 1) The applicants denied have no experience 2) The applicants denied are family members 3) One applicant (that we know of so far) lied & omitted contacts & business with adversaries like russia, which is a felony. |
Despite the obvious, what bothers me is why, when we knew about this in 2017, it was brushed under the rug.
Is it because the Senate and House commettee's were controlled by the right ? It was as big a problem then as it is now. What would get everyone's attention ? If they gave clearance to Bunita, or Obama's grandmother ? Secrets are going to be for sale for biz deals. I have seen many more lower level congressmen and senators ousted for far less in just appearance. |

In this case we have the dumb leading the blind. The President is a failed businessman and former game show host and he is giving the highest security clearance to his daughter who's only claim to fame is she ran a clothing and shoe company that she had to close because she was ripping off other people's designs, and his son-in-law that is billions of dollars in debt. |

But lying to you and dismissing experts doing their jobs that you pay for are ok with you. Got it. |
Quote:
Now lets say that the CIA knew he had been corrupted. And the CIA tells Trump that Jared should not get a security clearance because he might share it with someone and undermine US national security. Just saying this as an example. So now: Should Trump ignore that advice and give Jared security clearance anyway, despite the risk or problems it might cause? Or should Trump accept that experts in security, are telling him that this is a bad idea and not do it? |
LOL @ obsessed, emotionally unwell foreigners talking about shit that is 100% none of their business

also now confirmed: nobody cares.

Clearances aren't given for what you've done in the past, they are given so you can move into (and maintain) a new position. |
