Maserati Abandoned At Beach

Imagine leaving a $100k car in the ocean! Either stolen or waiting for good weather. Affluent town and you see awesome cars there. One guy had a car, new, with the winged doors. Can’t think of the name but it was around half a million dollars if I remember right. My guy at the time and I viewed it and everyone was looking inside. I was under the hood trying not to touch anything.

Funny story: one of the multi-million dollar mansions on the ocean had Toyotas in the garage and driveway. I stopped and looked, thinking they’d have expensive cars. I’m driving my ‘66 Mustang and parked at the beach up the road. Some guy stops to ask about my car because he saw me viewing his Toyotas. I said I expected Bentleys and Lamborghinis. He said that those are showpieces and too much to maintain. Toyota is longer lasting and gets good mileage I had a Toyota and agreed. His father raised him to buy but don’t buy to show off, buy to live and enjoy. Smart people in that family.

One morning I was coming home at 4am and I came across a car in the middle of the road.... No hazards, no one there.... So I put my hazards on and called the police. Oddly enough an officer I knew responded. Seems the driver took the turn too fast, hit a curb, and destroyed the front tire. Instead of getting a DUI they decided to flee.

There was pictures of a Purple Lamborghini left in a ditch a few days ago.

He mixed up his car models.

Thought he'd bought one of these.
