50 Cent says he turned down $500K to attend Trump inauguration
50 Cent was on The Late Late Show Tuesday and while sitting next to Massachusetts Senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren, he revealed how he could have made more money thanks to President Donald Trump.
The rapper, actor, executive producer and all-around media mogul told host James Corden that Trump offered him “half a million dollars” just to attend his inauguration in January 2017. “I didn’t do it because I didn’t know if I could fix the damage,” 50 Cent said. 50 Cent told a similar story to Hot 97 back in 2017, only then the $500,000 offer was for an event leading up to the election in 2016, right around the time 50 Cent was going through bankruptcy issues. But in both instances, his reasons for not accepting the major payday haven’t changed. “To be honest with you, all money is not good money. You have to be careful with what you’re doing publicly,” 50 Cent said. “I was just like, ‘Whoa.’ Don’t bring me to fix the African-American vote. Bring somebody else. I’ll see you later.” article... |
If especially like the part where 50 and all the other rappers break props to Trump for being a badass.. Then when it's time to put on white face 50 tap dances accordingly.
Kind of like when fifty rightfully ripped on Terry Crews for his victim juice publicity grab.. Then started mumbling PC bullshit on good morning America when asked about it. Lulz. |
50 Cent is a solid business man. He couldn't accuarately predict the outcome of the Trump swing so he passed.
If his story is indeed true he is a true success story. American Dream holder. His buyout from Vitamin Water alone was brilliant. |
He does s good job at appearing to keep it real.
Don't like his music, can't stand his acting, but seems somewhat honest and affable in interviews. |
He shouldn't have - then he would have had a whole one million for a few minutes before the baby mama got it

Wise decision
