If Trump does this it very well may set a precedent that comes back to bite the Republicans in the ass. Imagine when the next Democrat is POTUS and they declare a national emergency for climate change, gun control, or something like that then funnel money away from something else to deal with these issues. The Republicans are really ready to die on any hill Trump chooses. They're fucking traitors. Our system is set up in a way so these kind of things don't happen...but it doesn't work when one party is full of idiots.

We really need to have requirements for our elected officials. A basic IQ and psychological test. Weed out the morons and sociopaths. Some of them are both.

Congress has nothing to do with it. He doesn't need congress approval.

Courts can't do anything other than try to stall it until it reaches the supreme court which will pass it with ease.

What's unconstitutional? Declaring a national emergency is not unconstitutional.

Declaring a national emergency because tons of drugs and criminals are invading our country 24/7 is also not unconstitutional.
