According to reports, actor Jussie Smollett, known for his role on Fox’s ‘Empire’ was a victim of an alleged hate crime by two men who are MAGA supporters

The two men reportedly beat up the actor while he was at a Subway restaurant in New York around 2 am late Monday morning. Both of the attackers were white and wore ski masks. They approached the actor and began to attack him, which prompted the actor to fight back.

Despite his efforts, he suffered a fractured rib. Along with that, the men reportedly poured bleach on the actor and put his head in a noose, while they screamed “This is MAGA country” at him.

Smollett has been treated at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was discharged from the hospital Tuesday morning.
