It's a game changer at MCDs!

Quote:

McDonald's just announced three new Big Macs.

Some may say that the iconic McDonald's Big Mac needs no changing, but clearly, they would be wrong - as even the fast food restaurant itself thinks adding bacon to the burger is a necessary move.

We're inclined to agree.

This year has already been full of Maccies news - first, they launched the Spicy Veggie Wrap, then they brought back the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry, and last week they were even giving away free cheeseburgers - but it appears they want to end January with a bang, announcing three new Big Macs to appeal to all meat-eating customers.

The fast-food restaurant is changing the recipe of the iconic Big Mac for the first time in 51 years by adding bacon. Plus, the Grand Mac and the Mac Junior, which were around for a short time early last year, will also be back on the menu.
Big Macs are ok but Big Macs with BACON sounds yummy!

PornDiscounts-V 01-28-2019 11:13 AM

If only they had those in IN! That's the 1st place I stop when I go to AZ.

blackmonsters 01-28-2019 11:33 AM

I agreee SBJ.

A little bacon will light the flavor of the Big Mac.
And it needed more meat because of the extra middle bun.

I never eat Big Mac; but will try one.

:thumbsup

Ya the last time I ate a big mac was when Grand Mac came out and thought I'd try it. Was hoping for 2 quarters but they aren't quite that big.

Don't get me wrong about not eating Big Macs.
I was the reason they had to stop the $1 menu.

I am a McDonald :pimp

CurrentlySober 01-28-2019 12:16 PM

All joking aside, I have not eaten McDonalds for about 7 months, and then the other day I got Double Cheeseburger, Nuggets and Fries. I was really looking forward to them, but they tasted different to how I remember them. Quite bland and stodgy. Not what they used to taste like.

Dunno if I got a bad batch, or if my taste buds have changed?

SilentKnight 01-28-2019 12:18 PM

My wife and I's last trip to McDonalds was during the dinner rush hour...and to our surprise we found the place empty. We were the only customers.

Should've been a red flag.

It took over twenty minutes to get our order...and my order had two mistakes, each mistake taking another 5 mins. to correct. My wife actually finished her entire meal before my order was fully corrected. The place looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since the previous shift, garbage overflowing and dirty tables. The self-serve pop machine had no ice and the pop was room temperature.

I called the manager over and nicely but firmly complained about our dismal experience. He offered a careless "Oh, sorry about that" and walked away. That's retail code for "I don't give a fuck."

We walked out and vowed to never set foot in another McDonalds establishment...ever.

Not that they'll ever give a shit, of course.

brassmonkey 01-28-2019 12:25 PM

oh, shit now you are having me crave a baconator. But I almost never go there cause it is like the farthest FF place from me and I'm not driving another 10 mins out of my way just for that. Culvers makes a damn good burger too.

I only eat fast food once a week when I go to town for groceries

Colmike9 01-28-2019 12:43 PM

When I worked there like 15 years ago, you could just ask to put bacon on things..

Fixed that for you.. lol and yes I know you can ask for bacon but they charge $2-3 extra and I've had to turn around cause they didn't put the bacon on it.

how could you possibly equate that to a regular experience at this place? That is hysterical that you would think that it is...

Mr Pheer 01-28-2019 05:32 PM

I've cut back so much on fast food that it would probably make me sick to eat there. The new McFlurry sounds tasty though.

In our region, it is. We only went to this one because the service and accuracy at our closest one was just as bad.

Hysterical, huh?

I usually just get the Quater Pounder. I'll get a Big Mac once in a while by QP is my go-to treat at McD's.

HairyChick 01-28-2019 09:27 PM

I’ve never eaten McDonald’s food. Burger King maybe a few dozen times and Wendy’s about six times in the last year. I’d get their chili years ago in quantity and freeze them.

Fast food but salty and fatty. I prefer Chinese food for fast food like chop suey with beef, shrimp & lobster sauce (har lung woo), beef & broccoli or one place makes a special meal for me. Chicken, beef, shrimp, pork with bok choy, scallions, onions, bean sprouts, broccoli, red pepper in a garlic sauce and hot and spicy. I told the owner that I used to get it in Boston Chinatown and he said he could make it for me. He charges me $10 for a large which is a quart. It’s on the menu as Winter Delight for $15! I get four meals and I freeze it, or used to, so it’s always there.

Damn, I haven’t been there in ten-plus years. I know what I want for my birthday; a couple of orders of that in soup containers with a cover. I’ll freeze them and have it when I want it.

Thanks for the post, it brought back memories and now I can tell people I want gift cards for $10 so I can have my second favorite meal easily.

I was going to go to the new buffet that opened last week but that can wait. This Chinese buffet has Italian food, too. I’m leery about trying their food and buffets scare me. Kids stick their fingers in food, people sneeze over dishes, I’ve seen serving spoons used to taste the food.

I’m told there was a Howdy Burgers locally before the chains moved in. They had a burger buffet for two bucks in the 60’s with all you can eat burgers, fries, drinks, hot dogs and milk shakes. A burger was a quarter! I wonder if that would work today. Ten dollars for all you can eat there. I’d bet McDonald’s would do well in the projects and poor areas. Drive by any project and see fast food wrappers and bags everywhere. They fixed it up with landscaping, new windows and more, at least the one I saw in Fall River last week. But fast food garbage was there though not as bad as years ago.

I liked Subway chicken on a flatbread until I read their chicken is 65% real chicken only. Haven’t been back since then.

GAMEFINEST 01-28-2019 10:14 PM

I never had one, doesn't seem appealing
