I think the answer to running an adult classifieds site is to do it outside of the reach of the USA. Host it in another country, use a ccTLD that isn't within reach of US authorities. I have no idea what AdList24 did, but we have sites like Locanto which offer pretty much the same ads Backpage did. I've looked for news on AdList24, can't find any. Does anyone know the story? |
Some digging reveals the site AdList24.com was a part of a group running

I don't know if AdList24.com provided an open advertising platform or just for its own affiliates of the supermatchescort.com business - may have looked and behaved like a classifieds site but not actually been a bona fide one. I don't know as I never knew of the site before you posted it. However, https://locanto.com.au provides personals ads that have plenty of sex for sale. Often the providers run out of AirBNB or Motel rooms and are not licensed prostitution providers in Australian jurisdictions. Often they are Asian, I assume some of them may be trafficked. Dodgy massage parlours outnumber brothels in many Australian cities. |

I wonder if Locanto are well protected against action by the US Government. Sex trafficking needs to be addressed everywhere but shutting down classifieds sites (unless actually complicit) is a bridge too far in my opinion. |

They are trying the same thing with sex cam work, claiming that most of the girls are doing it involuntarily and are enslaved by pimps. Wouldn't be surprised if adult webcam domains are being seized by the FBI in ten or twenty years time. |
