These 'Find A Discount Voucher' browser plugins...
Example: https://www.joinhoney.com/
So I shop around online and they provide me with a discount voucher for stuff Im gonna buy... OK, but what's in it for them? Is it just my data they want? What's their business model? |

So do you think it's worth installing it?
It's not like I have anything to hide and that explanation sounds reasonable enough... EDIT: As long as it doesn't try to redirect or mess about with my browser though... I mean if I'm buying something at amazon via prime for say £40 with next day delivery, I don't want it taking me to the same thing for £45 with free delivery, just so they can make a commision... |

Personally I don't think it's worth handing over data to a business model like this for the small discounts you might get. Edit: what I am saying is that there is nothing altruistic about these browser add ons or apps. |
