TubeX Updated
As many of you will know I've been maintaining a bug fixed PHP5 compatible TGPX which can be found here:
https://github.com/rjkmelb/TGPX-Updated I'm nearing completion of an update that will make TGPX fully PHP 7 compatible. While doing that I've almost finished updating TubeX to PHP 7.1 and added a new Foundation based theme as standard. I expect to have this completely ready for release by March. Please note, if you want to run a real tube nothing beats MechBunny. The new TubeX will be mostly based on JMBSoft code with updates to PHP 7.1 and unfortunately it contains what are called breaking changes, so it's not possible to directly upgrade from the old TubeX to my new version. TubeX is best used running embedded videos, however with the addition of VideoJS and Flowplayer it will be possible to run a fully embedded tube with automation and without popup ads. What I'd like to know is if anyone is still using TubeX and if they would like to be a guinea pig for testing the updated code before I release it generally? |
Bump for ya, nice job and best of luck.

I've been fielding a few questions about this over the past few days.
Firstly, if you want to run a real tube I suggest buying MechBunny Secondly the update for TubeX is really intended to help keep existing users going as hosts move to PHP 7 and for anyone wanting to start an embedded tube and have the technical skills to install it. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask here or contact me directly. |
is there a demo of the latest version anywhere?

The last official version is here https://github.com/jmbsoft/TubeX I would not recommend using that. |
Keep up the great work! :thumbsup
