What did this CAM AFFILIATE do wrong?
See the story here
Whatsapp and other apps enable something similar to this... But this dude did it wrong Better AI? Hybrid outsourced text readers and a better customized decision tree? How can people who market like this do all of the above while maintaining a healthy ROI? The bottom line? Good thing 'victims' can't sue the aff program directly :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
Conversion rate probably a lot higher then just spamming a link URL hehe
|
They failed to realize that a little bit of manual selling can go a long way..
Bots are nice.. and can do a lot of heavy lifting, but nothing beats a manual response when things go off script, and it's not difficult to herd them back on script. What always kills me is the lack of attention to detail on the link conveyance and landers :2 cents: |
I don't see how it was a scam. Dishonest at best, same as most marketing. If they handed over cc details they knew what they were getting...

did not read anything but title but I can answer your question.
what did he do? spammed sms fuck all that noise |
yes , some cams affiliate doing it.,
posting ads on craigslist pretending to be girl and using temp sms service app. to show the number is local receiving interested peoples sms and sexting with them manually. sending them cams affiliate url its chat sales V2 ROI , you wont believe it, they are converting like fucking crazy. i saw one guy pull in like 20-30 sales a day with multiple phones and CB are also low., so it doesnt raise a flag. |

I know people who use actual phones, and those who've paid for proper programming, but they don't "do" manual or even semi-manual and wonder why their numbers keep falling. Many many many a sale... has been saved with a bit of semi manual selling, which allows for off script replies. |
Reverse SMS chat sales work better.
The model is easy, plenty doing it. You need a multi-number sms bridge service (there's plenty of them) Then you want a bank of 5 - 10 numbers on the bridge service. Then you post ads on Craigslist or some other classifieds site (locanto is the one to use in AU), place it in the personal services section with a mobile number. What section and what ad wording you use depends on the niche. Then you simply wait for people to sms you. If you use a simple API driven front end you can handle a dozen or so numbers on the one display. Because people are sending you messages it doesn't matter if you go to sleep or walk the dog or whatever because you can reply any time. You could have 5 to 10 on the go at the same time and use manual selling. It also doesn't break spamming laws because you didn't initiate the sms conversation :) A bit of creativity gets people to your link and those that become a pain in the arse just block them. Then rinse and repeat. Recycle to new numbers and go again. |
"I'm kind of bored out here" continued the texter, before asking if the recipient was a "booty man"
"You're not a good listener" my friend replied. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh for real though, I wonder how many dudes have gotten in grief when their chick finds this stuff on their phones (that's actually kinda funny too) |
