Pot stickers are like dumplings.

I, personally, like broccolli and chicken, chicken lo mien, and you always gotta have your won-ton soup or hot and sour soup.

kaylacam 05-03-2003 05:47 PM

Cashew Chicken!

*yum yum*

A pot sticker is seasoned pork wrapped in a noodle shell. Boiled, then pan fried.

very tasty... I suggest dipping in red pepper paste or mongolian beef sauce.

Exxxotica 05-03-2003 05:49 PM

This thread is making me HUNGRY!!!

AdultNex 05-03-2003 05:49 PM

Some restaurants have this, some don't.

Try out the shrimp with cashews. It's incredibly good.

AaronM 05-03-2003 05:51 PM

I would order a mask and then get the fuck out of China!

which place do you go to?

Easton 05-03-2003 07:08 PM

just for the record: i had #35 - chicken in black bean sauce with mixed peppers and onions, on a bed of steamed rice... feeling pretty stuffed right now

booker 05-03-2003 07:11 PM

So this is how the guys get 15000 posts... umm, I'd say go with chicken & broccili & steamed rice, or perhaps shrimp or beef lo mein.

edit: well shit you already went

Fletch XXX 05-03-2003 07:12 PM

For the record, I'm having Corona y El Marijuana.

For a westerner to enter the Chinese restaurant in that manner would be viewed as disrespectful.

ryph 05-03-2003 07:57 PM

Chicken Lo Mein with a side of Steamed Dumplings... mmm.

rowan 05-03-2003 09:02 PM

Are these dishes the same up your way?

Honey Chicken - small chicken pieces in batter (sometimes more like a dumpling) with honey sauce. Sitting on a bed of deep fried (crispy) rice noodles, topped off with sesame seeds

Sweet and Sour Pork - in batter (again sometimes a round dumpling), either in the sauce with vegetables, or with a separate sauce for dipping

Special Fried Rice - rice, peas, ham, BBQ pork, egg, shrimp

My favourite Chinese dishes. :Graucho
